If you are unable to join us in Dunedin, we are offering registrations for virtual attendance. Should you wish to register to attend virtually , please select "I would like to attend a virtual session" from the options below.

Please note: Virtual sessions are subject to sufficient demand. Should demand to run virtual sessions be insufficient, the option to attend virtually will be cancelled and any registration fees refunded in full, without the usual cancellation penalites.

Registration clarifications

Student rates
A copy of your student ID will need to be emailed to rachel@hardingconsultants.co.nz after completing the registration process.
Please be advised that student registrations are available until the 10th of February noting that a late fee will apply.

Advocate rates
People who are active advocates (walking, cycling, or other related specific issues like 'safer speed limits') but do not work for an organisation that is in a position to pay their registration fees. It is primarily for (non-professional) financial members of Living Streets Aotearoa (LSA) or Cycling Advocates Network (CAN) with a focus on representatives from as many groups around the country as possible.

Advocates will need to be signed off by the committee upon completing the registration process. We will be in touch once approval has been granted confirming your advocate rate.

Please be advised that advocate registrations are available until the 10th of February.

Extra tickets for social events
Conference dinner tickets for day registrants, students, exhibitors or additional tickets for partners may be purchased for $172.50 incl. GST per ticket. Welcome function tickets for day registrants or partners may also be purchased for $75 incl. GST per ticket.           

Payment
Payment instructions will be given during the registration process. Payment can be made by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX only) or Invoice (cheque or direct debit).

Confirmation
Confirmation of registration and payment will be sent to you via email automatically upon completion of your registration.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation policy
Should you be unable to attend once you have registered, you may reassign your registration to another person. Please note you must advise the Conference Secretariat on 03 352 5598 or email 
rachel@hardingconsultants.co.nz

Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing. Cancellations made on or before Friday 5 March 2021, will be refunded less 30% to cover administration costs. Please note that all cancellation fees are payable irrespective of whether the invoice for registration has been paid or not at the time of cancellation. No refunds will be given after Friday 5 March 2021.

Accommodation cancellation policy
If you cancel your accommodation after 12 February 2021, you will be charged a cancellation fee levied by the accommodation provider.

Liability/Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel insurance and medical insurance prior to the conference. The policy should include loss of fees through cancellation of your participation in the conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters the meeting secretariat cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by delegates. Nor can the secretariat take responsibility for injury or damage to property or persons occurring during the conference or associated activities. Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.

You will have the opportunity to wander through the displays that have a lot of cool transport exhibits.   This is always a great evening to kick back and unwind with other delegates.
 
​Come dressed for a day in the country.  There is some wonderful entertainment planned along with local and delicious delicacies.

On the Go Awards will be presented as part of the evening.

Booked accommodation must be guaranteed with either a credit card number or full payment. Should you guarantee your accommodation via credit card, please be advised our payment service provider Centium Software, is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. This means, your card holder data is protected to the highest possible levels, from data entry into our online registration sites, through to payment into the banks.

On check-out, any additional costs incurred can be settled with cash, eftpos or a credit card.

The 2WALKandCYCLE 2021 Conference Committee may include physical activities which involve personal danger. In consideration of being permitted to take part in conference activities, the undersigned for his/herself, his/her personal representatives, heirs and next of kin (together referred to as the "Delegate") hereby gives the following acknowledgement, waiver and release from liability in favour of 2WALKandCYCLE Conference Committee, the Conference Organisers (Harding Consultants), officers, agents, contractors, and employees.

I understand that participating in 2WALKandCYCLE may involve travel on public and private roads and outdoor and/or physical activities including walking and cycling. The hazards include, but are not limited to, walking, cycling, car, bus, actions of other participants or the general public, weather conditions and my physical and mental state of health. In my judgement, I am fit and well enough to participate in the conference safely.

I note that any physical activity, such as walking or cycling, that I opt to take part in, including any field trips, will be outlined to me in detail at a later date, including the route to be taken. I will then sign that I have sighted this route via the attendee app onsite at conference.

I agree to abide by the rules of the conference providers and to the extent allowed by law, release 2WALKandCYCLE Conference Committee, the Conference Organisers and sponsors from any liability to me or my/their successors, and I agree to participate at my own risk.

Payment

Credit card payments
⁠PCI DSS is a comprehensive set of requirements created by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council for enhancing cardholder data security and to ensure the safe handling and storage of sensitive customer credit card information / data. Direct Payment Solutions Group (trading as Payment Express Ltd) is a Level 1 Service Provider and is compliant to PCI DSS Version 3.2 standard.

A merchant fee of 3% will be added to your total should you choose to pay your registration/accommodation via credit card.

Please note that that the credit card payment will appear on your credit card statement as a transaction with Harding Consultants Ltd.
