Elizabeth has worked in a number of behaviour changed focused roles over the past decade. She worked in the Cycling, Walking & Accessibility team at TFL in the early days of cycling in London, then on returning to New Zealand worked on a wide variety of prevention activities with ACC and in 2015 returned to transport at NZTA focusing cycling, and more recently travel demand mangement

Claire Pascoe is the Lead Advisor Multi-Modal at the New Zealand Transport Agency. Her role is focussed on balancing the transport system and the levels of service across different modes, particularly in urban environments, so people have genuine choices about how they get around. In her previous positions in the National Cycling team, she played a lead role in the development and delivery of the Urban Cycleways Programme and a suite of culture change activities designed to change the conversation on transport.

Emily is a Senior Landscape Architect and Team Leader of the Beca's South Island Design Practice. She has been leading the landscape architecture and urban design for the Peloton Major Cycleways team constructing Major Cycleway Routes across Christchurch. Her involvement has been across all phases including route selection, safety auditing, scheme design, consultation and detailed design of the routes. Emily is passionate about cycling and has a drive to get as many people out on foot or bike activating our streets.

Stephanie is a Senior Professional Engineer in the Safe Systems and Human Factors team at the Australian Road Research Board (ARRB). Her background includes proposal development and project management of data collection projects for government and private industry. Stephanie is currently working on the Evaluation of the Safe Systems Road Infrastructure Program (SRIPP) Pedestrian Improvement Plan, and she is also an enthusiastic committee member of the Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS) Victorian Chapter.

Christine Cheyne is an Associate Professor in the School of People, Environment and Planning at Massey University. Her research interests include transport policy and planning and the development of low carbon urban environments. With Associate Professor Imran Muhammad she has been involved in a long-term project on barriers to active transport in Palmerston North. She is an advisory member of the Horizons Regional Transport Committee representing active and public transport.

Fighting the wrong battle - focusing on cycling is counterproductive

Owen is a director of CicloCivica. He spent several years as a project manager for Hastings Council, working on NZ's first "model community" for walking and cycling. He now works as a consultant, helping Napier Council develop their Urban Cycleways Programme.

Isabella is a director of CicloCivica, providing consultancy services to NZTA to helping them support councils to boost cycling and walking. She helped found Frocks on Bikes and worked in community engagement for popular infrastructure projects. She's also convenor of TalkWellington.org.nz, a new social enterprise that aims to help shape the future of Wellington.
