Elizabeth has worked in a number of behaviour changed focused roles over the past decade. She worked in the Cycling, Walking & Accessibility team at TFL in the early days of cycling in London, then on returning to New Zealand worked on a wide variety of prevention activities with ACC and in 2015 returned to transport at NZTA focusing cycling, and more recently travel demand mangement

Sara has been involved in the Christchurch City Council Major Cycle Routes for nearly 5 years, first as a community board chair and now as a city councillor, looking at both the technical and political sides of the issues. She sits on the Infrastructure, Transport and Environment Committee, which has delegated decision making over the $250m MCR programme and sees the rebuild as an opportunity to build a more liveable, connected, sustainable and prosperous Christchurch.
