Kim Hill has been presenting RNZ's award-winning Saturday Morning programme for the last 20 years. Her earlier career included television, and radio and print in Aotearoa, UK and Australia. For RNZ, she worked in Greymouth and Gisborne before joining Checkpoint, Morning Report, and Nine to Noon. Kim looks forward to returning to the ICNZ Conference as MC.

Shamubeel will update us on the state of the economy, secular forces driving a change in the way we think about geopolitics and policy making, and what it means for adaptation and mitigation approaches in New Zealand.
Biography
Shamubeel has been making economics interesting and easy for over two decades.
He has worked in various banks and consultancies in New Zealand and Australia.
He is a partner at Sense Partners, a boutique economic consultancy. He holds various governance roles; and regular media contributor.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Economics from Lincoln University and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
He has authored several books – the most recent are Generation Rent and Growing Apart.
Shamubeel lives in Auckland with wife, Selena, and sons, Haydn and Hugo.
