Pippa is Business Development Manager for 3M Australia and New Zealand Transport.
Pippa Batchelor has extensive theoretical and practical experience of the Transportation Safety Industry, with her career starting within the UK and Europe and for the last 5 years within Australia and New Zealand. She has worked extensively both within the research and development, and regulatory functions of 3M. She has recently been the drafting leader for the revisions of the AS/NZS1906.1 and AS 4001 standards, which were published in 2017.
She is regularly engaged in educating road safety practitioners and has led several workshops to encourage greater understanding of the practical implementation of signage and other technology to increase road safety.

Stephen Hewett is a Business Director with Beca and is actively pursuing Beca’s growth in the Transport Advisory services, using new technology to help reduce congestion and improve the efficiency of road networks. Stephen and his Asia Pacific team are involved in a range of ITS projects including traffic operations, real time information system, network performance and Smart City ITS applications.
Stephen was the Transport Lead for the Queenstown Town Centre Masterplan looking at an integrate and smart approach to develop a road network, public and passenger transport system and parking system that can meet the project objectives.

Peter Hansby took up the role of General Manager, Property & Infrastructure for the Queenstown Lakes District Council in October 2014.
Prior to this he has held a number of senior management positions in the Engineering and Infrastructure sector, including Director - Christchurch Rebuild, AECOM, General Manager Southern Region, City Care Ltd. A career highlight for Peter was his role as Emergency Controller for City Care Ltd following the September and February Christchurch earthquakes together with his role in establishing the alliance framework for the Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team (SCIRT).
Mr Hansby has a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Canterbury, a New Zealand Certificate in Engineering and is a Member of the Institute of Professional Engineers New Zealand.
