Peter Moth has considerable international experience in developing railway projects from his time working in the UK for Transport for London. A lot of Peter’s experience is in planning projects designed to accommodate large scale population growth.
After spending five years developing the High Speed Two rail proposals in London, Peter was a Principal Sponsor for the proposed Crossrail 2 project, a new north-south railway beneath London, where he led a multi-disciplinary team to develop proposals for five central London stations. He has extensive experience in option assessment, stakeholder engagement, public consultation and scheme design.
Peter has recently joined Jacobs in Auckland to enhance their rail planning expertise.

Risto recently joined WSP’s Auckland transport planning team from Helsinki, Finland, where he was Director of Transport for WSP, and was regularly involved in multi-disciplinary, urban integrated transport projects. Risto has over 27 years’ experience in urban transport planning. Risto has provided project management and technical leadership on a variety of master-planning and transit-oriented projects. His expertise is in planning for multi-dimensional towns and cities, aiming to improve level of service for walking and cycling, and maintain connectivity for road and transit networks. Risto is also passionate about improving investment in transport infrastructure that promotes vibrant neighbourhoods.

Urban challenges - inspiration from American NW

Tamara is a transport planner interested in great urban
environments. She worked in Switzerland, Argentina, and New Zealand, teaming up with urban planners to deliver
solutions providing for wider cities' and people's needs.
Her projects encompass public transport masterplanning, decision support for urban strategies, system concepts for new developments, transport elements for multimodal interfaces or accessibility assessments.

Chris graduated from Auckland University in 2014 since when he has been involved in various transport studies, including a key role in option identification, bus station design and stakeholder engagement on the Fiji Transportation Studies project.
Phil is a Transportation Engineer with over 30 years of experience in 8 countries. Phil led the Fiji Transportation Studies project that is the subject of this presentation.
Matt has over 10 years transport planning experience in the UK and NZ. Matt led the stakeholder engagement and public transport and active mode planning on this project.
