Dr Searle is an obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility specialist based in Wellington at CCDHB and Fertility Associates. She has completed further subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, both in Wellington and Melbourne alongside some of the pioneers of IVF. As part of this training she was involved with ovarian tissue freezing and grafting following cancer treatment, a technique she hopes to bring to patients in NZ. She is also a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Otago. Having had her own fertility journey, Leigh is aware of the stress that can be involved and is passionate about helping others navigate through this time. She is now a proud mum to 2 boys.
