Biography

She has a long and proven track record for being an industry and community champion for Equal Pay and Gender Equality. Angela has worked in London, Tokyo, Melbourne, Bangkok, Wellington and Auckland across a number of senior marketing and communications roles. Angela has led high-performing teams in the corporate, arts and government sectors and is the co-founder of the Ace Lady Network, Gender Justice Collective and Project Gender. From 2016 – 2020 she was the founder and the director of Double Denim, an internationally award-winning agency and is currently the Head of Marketing at Auckland Council. In 2021 she developed and led ‘Trade Careers’ – a pioneering project to get more women into the trades. In 2017, 2018 and 2022, Angela was a finalist in the Women of Influence Awards, recognizing leaders and change-makers within New Zealand, for her work supporting gender equity and identifying ways in which businesses can improve gender relations in the workplace and help unlock the power of the $28 trillion female economy.

Biography

After playing a core role in establishing the Student Volunteer Army in response to the Canterbury earthquakes in 2010-11, Erin has spent the past ten years working with organisations to create strategic social change. Specialising in using 'the tools in your pocket' (technology!), she has worked nationally and internationally to help people tell their stories and build campaigns. Erin founded her own campaign agency (Narrative) in 2015, which has supported more than 200 organisations in a range of storytelling, fundraising, crowdfunding and community-building mahi. She is also an Edmund Hillary Fellow and an experienced director, having served on a range of boards (ranging from government appointments to heritage organisations to boards supporting tertiary institutions).

Biography

Tania is the founding director of Cogo, a research agency which since 2014 has been working for social change across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in Aotearoa. Cogo delivers insights research and programme evaluation for disability, family violence, gender equity, mental health and wellbeing, alcohol harm, and diversity and inclusion. Tania is passionate about the power of research to help businesses and organisations make good investment decisions and grow stronger communities and has 18+ years experience as a researcher and policy analyst. In 2017, Tania co-founded The Backbone Collective, a charitable trust working to improve the system response to family violence in Aotearoa and is a founding member of the Gender Justice Collective. In 2021, she joined forces with Angela Meyer and Erin Jackson to form Project Gender, a social change agency that creates positive impact through insights research, breakthrough campaigns and real-world solutions.
