Sarah Dalton is executive director of Toi Mata Hauora ASMS, the union for senior doctors and dentists. She is on the board of Wāhine Connect and founded the facebook group on which women in medicine was built. Prior to her union work (with PPTA and now ASMS) Sarah was a secondary school teacher. These days her main preoccupations outside paid work are crochet, beach swimming, reading, annoying her husband, and indulging the world’s most adorable grandchild.
