Inspector Peter McKennie is the Manager: Operations for the National Road Policing Centre. He has almost 37 years of experience in a wide range of roles within New Zealand Police. In his current role, Peter’s principle responsibility is enabling efficient and effective Police road safety operations nationally. He also represents Police on a variety of interagency governance and working groups, and is on the Trafinz Executive.

Pippa is Chair of the Waitematā Local Board, Auckland Council representing the central suburbs and city centre of Auckland. Pippa has served on the transport portfolio for 8 years, and is passionate about making transformational change through ensuring quality places that prioritise people. The Waitematā Local Board was the first to advocate for Vision Zero and is committed to achieving an accessible, connected and safe transport network with well designed streets. Pippa is a member of the National Council of LGNZ representing local boards and is an Executive Committee member of Trafinz.

The New Zealand Transport Agency is all about creating great journeys to keep New Zealand moving and Lisa helps ensure the right strategies are in place to do that.
Her team develop and embed strategic direction on critical safety and environmental issues. Delivering great results by turning strategy into action is her focus.
Lisa is a lawyer and resource management specialist with a keen interest in environmental and social responsibility. She began her involvement with the transport sector as Environmental Director for Transit New Zealand and has held various roles since, including Chief Advisor of Safety Directions, during which time she was instrumental in delivering the first Safer Journeys Action Plan with partners and introducing the transformational safe system approach to New Zealand. More recently she developed the Agency’s new strategy while in the role of National Manager Strategy and acted in the role of Director Regional Relationships for the Lower North Island.
