MC, entertainer, Mad Hatter, Ali G impersonator... costumed, dancing, bouncing about the place... yes, that guy is back. Andie is one of the founding members of The Court Jesters, the improvisation and corporate entertainment arm of the Court Theatre. He was also a member of The Outwits, who were labelled “the best MC’s in NZ” more than once. He has been a professional entertainer for over 25 years, as well as being an accomplished copywriter, brand strategist, voice over artist and smarty pants. EECA
Delivering a charging network to support 1.5M EV’s by 2035
8:40 AM - 9:10 AMBiography
The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is a government agency whose purpose is to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use. Our strategic focus areas are based on influencing the energy decisions in the transport, business, government, and residential sectors.
The Warmer Kiwi Homes team helps New Zealanders make homes warmer, healthier and smarter without increasing their energy bills.
The Public sector team supports the Carbon Neutral Government Programme by encouraging the public sector to reduce its carbon emissions, and advise agencies measure and report their energy-related emissions.
The Transport Team encourages New Zealanders choose low emissions mobility options, encourage innovation and scalability and support the development of charging infrastructure for the light and heavy fleet. EECA also oversees the public EV charging roadmap and realising the vision to allow EV drivers to charge when and where they want with confidence to be able to move throughout New Zealand.
Prior to joining EECA, Richard had an extensive career in the telecommunications industry, holding positions at Director, CEO and Country Manager level for local and multi-national organisations.
