Tauranga City Council published the Te Rapunga Ora Ki Te Papa City Centre Action and Investment Plan which focuses on revitalising centre over the next 10 years. The actions in this plan focuses on six strategic outcomes for the city centre, related to people, movement and accessibility, land use, our connection to the water, identity and culture, and the natural environment. The walking tour will provide an opportunity to explore the exciting projects that action and investment plan promises based on the integrated approach to public and private support in order to build a vibrant, well-planned city centre.
