Bryson Huxley is a Senior Engineer Officer with Taupō District Council working on multiple projects delivering on safer more functional streets for all modes and users in the Taupo District. Bryson was the transportation design lead for the Taupo Town Centre Transformation project ensuring outcomes were deliver on through a dynamic design process. Bryson has more than 8 years experience working on a variety of transport projects.

James Georgetti is a Senior Transportation Planner with 5 years' experience in the transport industry working on major projects including walking and cycling improvements, and public transport and rapid transit business cases. James is interested in ways to tailor transport projects to the needs of specific communities, bringing the people who will ultimately use infrastructure into the planning process. He is also interested in how we can better encourage and enable behaviour change alongside improvements in transport infrastructure.

Drew joined Tasman District Council in 2017 as a Transport Planning Advisor. Prior to this Drew has had broad experience across several roles including, Naval Architecture, Project Management, Strategic Planning and Asset Management. At Tasman District Council, Drew is responsible for all transportation planning activities as a territorial authority and a regional council (unitary authority). Since starting at Tasman District Council, Drew has worked hard to address key issues of population growth and climate change.

Jane has 25 years’ experience working as a Planner and Urban Designer in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas. Jane is also a qualified and experienced CPTED Practitioner having completed several training courses including with the International Security Management and Crime Prevention Institute. Jane has worked on a range of CPTED projects across the country. These have involved developing project briefs and strategies, facilitating engagement with key stakeholders involved in community safety, undertaking CPTED audits and assessments, and advising on the CPTED issues and considerations through key stage of the design process. Jane particularly enjoys the challenge of applying CPTED principles to city shaping streetscape and public realm projects and new public transport infrastructure. By contributing both strategic and spatial thinking and practical experience in CPTED, this helps guide projects to achieve positive urban change and wider reaching community benefits including crime prevention and reduction.
