Greg graduated from Victoria University in 1992 with a BA in Theatre and Film. During 1993 Greg trained as a Primary School Teacher and in 1994 graduated with a Diploma in Secondary teaching from Christchurch College of Education. Greg has taught in secondary schools in New Zealand and England. He has taught comedy and improvisation throughout the country for 17 years at secondary and tertiary levels. He has held the Secondary Schools, University, National and Commonwealth Theatresports titles. He has represented New Zealand at Theatresports twice - firstly as part of a Commonwealth competition in 1992 and then at the World Championships in 2006. Greg has appeared in movies, television and radio drama and comedy. His years of experience and understanding interaction with an audience makes him ideally suited for his continuing work on numerous television studio shows. Greg looks forward to MC'ing the conference for the 12th year.

As Project Director for the Auckland Light Rail Group, Tommy leads New Zealand’s largest ever infrastructure investment and transformational, multiagency urban and transport project. He has held senior management and governance roles with Arup as Australasian Consulting Lead, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, Fletcher Construction and Auckland Transport. Tommy's leadership in sustainability, resilience and the environment has seen the delivery of challenging infrastructure projects that respond to complex problems both in the United Kingdom and New Zealand. His commitment to industry wide innovation and excellence is seen in his leadership of the Construction Industry Zero Harm Group and North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Recovery (Kaikoura) and as initiator of the national Roading Efficiency Group.

A Year in the life of the Chair

Bridget is a Principal Researcher at MRCagney, based in Hamilton. She works on transport research, policy, and practice for a variety of government, university, and private sector clients around New Zealand. Bridget is a Chartered Engineer in transport with a doctorate in cognitive psychology, and is Chair of Engineering New Zealand's Transportation Group. Bridget regularly presents on inclusive access and road safety to audiences of transport professionals and community, with a focus on challenging us all to think about what ‘best practice’ means for the people we work with, and those we serve.
