                    Nick works for Hiway as the Technical Manger – New Zealand. Nick has worked in both the Contracting and Consulting industry for the last 20-years in design engineering and project management roles both in New Zealand and Australia. He has a passion for pavement design and quality construction and has extensive experience undertaking investigation and design of new and rehabilitated pavements in roading and heavy-duty environments.

                    Colin is a Principal Transport Planner with Tonkin + Taylor with over 35 years’ experience working in New Zealand and internationally, managing the appraisal, design and delivery of a wide range of transport projects and providing transport input to masterplans for major mixed-use land development projects.  Colin’s work has involved 
Transport lead on a wide range of mixed use land development projects including Ladies Mile Masterplan in Queenstown, Wirral Waters (the largest ever planning consent in the UK) and Wadi Al Asla a new city in Saudi Arabia.  Colin’s work involves due diligence, masterplanning, obtaining Resource Consent (including appearing as an expert witness at Hearings) through to detailed design and site supervision.
Leading on the delivery of a wide range of walking and cycling, rail, bus, roading, and public realm capital projects.  Project values typically range from <$1m to $410m.  Colin’s role involves project design and appraisal from feasibility/concept stage through to detailed design and site supervision.
Leading on developing successful business cases for a wide range of transport projects from $2m to $410m.
