Ben Frost is Beca’s leading walking and cycling specialist, with 16 years professional experience and a Registered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects. Over this time, he has specialised in cycling network planning and design of walking and cycling infrastructure. Bens experience and skills straddle the void between civil/transport engineering and urban design. He has worked on active mode projects for both private and public sectors at a programme level, business case, concept design, and detailed design stages.

Jack Jiang is an architecturally trained transport planner, with 14 years of experience. He has proven track record for providing funding and investment advice and delivering multi-modal street projects.
He held active modes leadership role on transformational projects such as Auckland Waitemata Harbour Connections (AWHC), City Centre to Mangere (Auckland Light Rail), and Support Growth Alliance (SGA). He successfully delivered large active modes business cases for Henderson, and Central & Isthmus with Auckland Transport, and Seapath with Waka Kotahi.
Jack worked closely with the co-presenter over the past decade on these transformational projects. He is looking forward to sharing his insights.

Phil is a Technical Director at Flow Transportation Specialists Ltd and has over 40 years’ experience in a wide variety of transport planning and traffic engineering roles in New Zealand, Australia, Samoa, Fiji, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Taiwan and Puerto Rico.
He is currently co-team leader for the UNDP led project into Decarbonisation of the Transport Sector in Samoa.

Marcus is a Technical Director in AECOM ‘s Auckland office where he brings his 25 years’ experience in the private and public sectors across NZ, Australia and the UK to solve complex, integrated urban planning and design problems. With an initial background in traffic and transportation and then civil design, Marcus has broad experience and multi-disciplinary knowledge across the project life cycle from strategic planning and business casing, to detailed design and delivery. He has developed a particular focus on high performing transit initiatives over the past 15 years which bring together all aspects of infrastructure and service operational thinking with a strong customer-centric focus. Marcus delights in collaborating with project partners and the teams he leads to develop elegant and pragmatic infrastructure and operational solutions that maximise value and community outcomes.
