Dave is a Principal Service Network Planner with Auckland Transport. Dave has been at Auckland Transport (and predecessor organisations) for over 27 years in a variety of roles, joining the planning team around 10 years ago. Prior to this Dave started his career in public transport as a bus driver in Auckland. Between 2016 and 2019, Auckland has rolled out a New Network for public transport in Auckland, Dave has been heavily involved in this network, Since 2019 Dave has been involved with continuous refinement and fine-tuning of the network.

Jeanette is a Technical Director at Abley. She works across the Abley transport planning, engineering and safety teams providing technical leadership. She is a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 30 years of diverse engineering experience. Jeanette has expertise across all modes, understands the people-based approach to planning and design and brings this all together in her projects. Jeanette regularly designs, peer reviews and safety audits street design projects and enjoys working in multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects. Jeanette understands the often-conflicting objectives when designing a street and has the ability to work through these with stakeholders. She also develops industry guidance and training, her recent work involved developing Pedestrian Network Guidance for Waka Kotahi. Overall, Jeanette’s passion is creating great and safe places for people.

Jamie is the Transportation Manager at Tasman District Council, where he has worked for over 10 years. Prior to this he worked for Opus and MWH, names which are now gone but fondly remembered.
His professional interest involves unleashing clever people to do their best work to serve our communities, delivering forward-looking and sustainable transport systems that connect the big picture to on-the-ground decisions.
Outside of work he balances escaping to the hills for running, biking, and tramping, with returning for a cold pint or two with family and friends.

Chris is a Registered Senior Landscape Architect and the Team leader of the Landscape and Urban Design Team in Tauranga.
Chris has ten years of experience in the landscape and urban design space, delivering projects throughout New Zealand and the Pacific. In recent years, Chris has focused on public realm and infrastructure improvement projects across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions, with roles spanning design, advisory, stakeholder engagement and collaboration with mana whenua and Māori artists. Chris has a particular interest in working with mana whenua and communities to achieve great outcomes and using landscape design as a means of cultural expression and representation for Māori.

Maraea is a visual artist and teacher whose portfolio spans a range of mediums and platforms. She has had numerous pieces in prominent art exhibitions across Aotearoa, with a practice backed by years of practical, theoretical, and experimental knowledge. Maraea emphasises the importance of Te Ao Māori (Māori world view) in her mahi, expertly weaving whakapapa, process and meaning in all her mahi toi.
