Lyndon has recently joined the Nelson City Council Transport Team after 30 years of working in Transport in Wellington. Previously Lyndon spent seven years working for KiwiRail, initially as a project manager and then spent five years working on the Future of Rail Review which transformed how rail was planned and funded - moving it from funding through the annual budget process into the National Land Transport Fund framework. Before KiwiRail Lyndon had 18 years working in a range of national and regional roles for NZTA focusing on standards development, planning and investment. From a professional perspective he has a keen interest in road safety, walking and cycling and public transport and personally is looking forward to exploring a new region.
