Biography

Kylie is a Principal Transportation Planner at Stantec and specialises in travel demand management. She has extensive experience in business case and strategy development, and walking and cycling network planning. However, in recent years she has pivoted towards parking management - addressing 'the elephant in the room'. Kylie is realistic about implementing change and recognises to achieve success, it is often necessary to take a staged approach to balance mode shift and emissions outcomes with the need to provide access and manage community expectations. Her candid and friendly approach combined with storytelling means she is skilled at getting communities to understand the challenges of balancing competing demands.
