Biography

Peter is a chartered professional transportation engineer and a technical principal in Transportation for WSP. He has worked a variety of transport fields and is currently leading the transport infrastructure design for the new interislander ferries in Picton. Peter brings a broad transport perspective, considering impacts of transport on the community, provision for alternative transport modes and a future focussed approach to new technology. He is an engaging speaker and is passionate about an accessible transport system that connects with the urban context and creates a safe self-explaining transport network. Peter enjoys working with local Iwi and like to weave local stories and legends into infrastructure projects to inform us of our rich history.
