Manvir Singh is Contract Engineer at Downer New Zealand with a focus on pavement resurfacing and preservation. Over the past two years, he has worked on reseals, and emulsion preservation across local roads, state highways, and airports.
Manvir started his career as an Engineering Cadet, gaining broad civil infrastructure exposure before specialising in pavement maintenance. he now leads the national delivery of Downer’s Specialised Emulsion Preservation programme with support from Senior Leadership. Manvir takes a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to project delivery and am passionate about driving innovation to improve long-term outcomes and promote more efficient, sustainable practices in pavement management.

Eric Singh is a chartered transport engineer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (UK), with extensive experience in transport planning, asset management, and public infrastructure delivery across Fiji and New Zealand.
He currently leads the Asset and Planning team at Hamilton City Council, overseeing the performance and longevity of the city's transport assets. With multiple qualifications in transport planning, GIS, and surveying, Eric brings a depth of technical expertise, strategic insight, and a strong commitment to professional excellence.

Andrew Metge is a Technical Director in Transport Planning with over 18 years of experience spanning traffic engineering, network operations, and strategic transport planning. At GHD Andrew is helping drive the uptake of innovative ways to use new tools and technology, including connected vehicle data , working closely with data analysts to apply a transport lens to emerging datasets. His work with the team has included exploring how behavioural data can inform safety, operations, planning and investment decisions to offer new ways to understand and respond to network challenges. He has also been co-leading GHD’s Strategy to Street initiative, which reimagines how we plan and prioritise transport infrastructure by placing desired behaviours on the network we have today.

Starting as a graduate, during her time at AT she has helped develop plans such as Room to Move: Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland's Parking Strategy, and GIS projects like the Kerbside Space Allocation dataset and Future Connect.

Werner Pretorius is Head of Integrated Network Planning at Auckland Transport, responsible for transport planning for all modes for the entire Auckland region, tasked with developing the plans, policies and strategies to help keep Auckland moving.
He is a seasoned transport professional with strong expertise in solving complex urban mobility challenges and delivering community-focused solutions. He has worked on large-scale transport infrastructure and urban planning projects with experience locally and internationally covering Africa, Europe, and New Zealand.

Glen joined ViaStrada in 2016 and is now a Director there, having spent the previous 12 years with the University of Canterbury, and prior to that with Opus International Consultants. He has a PhD in Transportation Engineering, as well as Masters and Bachelors degrees in civil engineering and computer science.
At Canterbury, Glen taught and undertook research and consulting in a range of topics in transportation planning and engineering, road safety, and professional engineering skills. At ViaStrada, he now works for a wide variety of international, national and local clients providing expert advice on transportation matters and helping to develop and deliver best-practice transport facilities, national guidelines, and industry training.
Glen specialises in road safety and sustainable transport, with particular interest and expertise in walking & cycling and speed/traffic management. He has been investigating these areas for over a decade, and has travelled extensively to study overseas practices in these areas.
