Lewis Mills
Head of Public Policy - New Zealand.
Lewis is responsible for Uber's public policy programme and engagement with regulators in New Zealand. He is a regulatory litigation lawyer and Crown prosecutor by background and has also held legal and policy roles in the public sector. Prior to joining Uber he was Senior Counsel to the Mayor of Auckland. Lewis has a BA/LLB (Hons) and studied at the University of Auckland and the University of Virginia School of Law.

Since 1995 Andy has chaired major Wellington City Council committees covering Transport, Infrastructure, Built and Natural Environment, Recreation, Urban Development and Strategy and Policy. He now chairs Council’s Finance Committee as well as being Council’s Urban Development Leader.
He was a founding trustee and long-time Guardian of Karori Sanctuary (Zealandia), and is President of TRAFINZ ‐ the Traffic Institute of NZ. He chairs the Karori Brooklyn Community Charitable Trust, and Karori Park Sports Club.
He’s served on several Boards and has recently been appointed to the Board of Wellington International Airport Ltd. Andy is a Sanctuary volunteer, a keen mountain runner, footballer and enjoys tramping, kayaking and skiing.

Rodney Tolley - Active Transport Consultant, Researcher, Presenter and Walk21 Conference Director.
Dr Rodney Tolley has been involved in the field of active, sustainable transport for over 40 years, first as a university researcher and teacher, and now as an experienced international speaker and consultant. He has led hundreds of presentations, walkabouts and workshops in communities across the world, including over 50 cities in Australasia.
He was a founder member of the Steering Group for Walk21 - the first International Conference on Walking and Livable Cities - and has been the Conference Director for the nineteen Walk21 Conferences since then. He was central to the development of the International Charter for Walking, which is has now been signed by over 500 mayors to lead their communities towards better walkability. He is currently finalising his most recent book (with Paul Tranter of UNSW Canberra) on ‘Future slow cities: Healthier places to live, work and play'.
His passion is walking – and talking walking.

Isabella hails from Porirua where she now lives. She's known for co-founding Frocks On Bikes a decade ago, and for convening Talk Wellington in the here and now. Professionally she's a freelancer, facilitating people for productive agreement (and productive disagreement), and consulting to local and central government on liveable streets and the associated engagement. And she's a firm believer in the power of good civic action, civilised urban chaos, and good coffee.

Darren Davis has 25 years of experience in transport, including being a transport lobbyist, planner and consultant. He has been involved in projects ranging from high level strategic policy advice, successfully influencing regional and national government agencies, to on-the-ground involvement in major transport infrastructure projects such as bus/ rail interchanges, public transport service design, public transport information and marketing, rail electrification and transit oriented development projects.

Claire Pascoe is the Lead Advisor Urban Mobility at the New Zealand Transport Agency. In her current role, she provides technical expertise and leadership across policy, planning and performance, to ensure that transport investment results in high quality urban environments that provide people with transport choices. She was previously involved in developing and delivering the Urban Cycleways Programme and managing the national cycling culture change programme.

Niels has worked with cycling, active mobility and urban planning for over 15 years in Copenhagen, Denmark, for the Danish State Railways, City of Copenhagen, Atkins, and most recently in his own consultancy, HOE360 Consulting.
A red thread being a strong focus on how these areas can be combined in order to create high quality cities with great liveability. He joined New Zealand Transport agency 1st. of February this year.
