During my time with the NTA I have been jointly responsible for the capital works programme, with a strong emphasis on Road Safety in particular. I do not believe road safety should be treated as an individual topic on its own, but should always be integrated into every road related improvement that is undertaken – as such it has been my goal to change the way we look at projects (from planning to project completion).
