Myrthe works as senior project manager for EcoMatters Environment Trust, and is currently managing two ebike libraries in Tāmaki Makaurau in collaboration with Waka Kotahi. Originally from the Netherlands, Myrthe is passionate about getting more New Zealanders out of cars and onto bikes.

Emma Osborne is a social scientist who primarily focuses on qualitative research in transport and health professional education.
Assoc. Prof. Caroline Shaw is a social and environmental epidemiologist who leads research in the areas of transport, health and climate change.
Cheryl Davies has worked in the Māori health sector for the past 35 years. Over the past 18 years, she has been a Principal investigator for a number of research projects focused on Māori and health and social issues. She predominantly works using kaupapa Māori-based methods of research.

Hamish is co-Director of Mackie Research and has 24 years of research and consultancy experience in various areas of human factors, research, trials, and evaluation, with the past 18 years specialising in road safety, active travel, health and safety, and other areas of life where designing for people is important. Often supporting project and programme delivery teams, Hamish brings specialist expertise in how people perceive their world, behave, and operate within systems, and he focusses on how to make transport and other safety systems intuitive, user-friendly, and safe. Volunteer roles include committee member (and past Chairperson) of the Human Factors and ergonomic Society NZ (HFESNZ), Governance Group member of the Health and Safety Association of NZ (HASANZ), committee member of the NZ Chapter of the Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS), and committee member of the Cycling and Walking Australia and NZ Innovations working group (CWANZ).

Hilleke has been riding a bike since her toddler days in the Netherlands but discovered cycling advocacy relatively recently, in 2009. Since then she has changed career paths to promote and enable people to use active transport. Growing up in the ‘poor part’ of Hastings, she has seen the hardship good people face, and is driven by a desire to enhance people’s lives. Providing a bike is a simple gift but it can make a big difference.
