Grant Bosma has worked in the roading industry for over 40 years. Most of his career has been with contractors in roles that included laboratory management, technical support and manufacturing. More recently he has joined the NZ Transport Agency as Principal Engineer, Surfacings, providing technical representation and support to NZTA and other organisations.
Grant is involved with the review and update of NZTAs pavement engineering technical specifications, particularly related to pavement materials and surfacings. He brings his technical knowledge and industry experience to the review process ensuing updates are technically sound while practical to procure and construct.

Robin specialises in helping clients use modern ground improvement and in situ testing methods to increase rates of construction, lower cost, improve quality, reduce risk and reduce their environmental footprint. For over 15 years, Robin has worked with civil engineering consultants, asset owners, government agencies, contractors, research organisations and suppliers in geotechnics, earthworks, and pavements across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
He combines practical understanding, theoretical knowledge and commercial business acumen and blends this with his background as a manufacturing engineer to look at civil construction through the eyes of people and process.
Robin is passionate about sustainability in civil construction and is the founding chair of the Ground Level Alliance.
Robin challenges the status quo, pushing the industry forward by bringing the latest technologies into the marketplace to enable better outcomes for testing and improving in situ conditions.
